- Description
- Heavy amphora spike, tapering to finished small flat end. Fainting turning marks.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Dense, granular fabric, consistently fired pale red, with frequent medium angular dark chunks and some varied medium to small lighter inclusions. Surface thinly washed and lighter.
- Preservation comment
- One large sherd preserves entire toe. Slight, sparse abrasion and gouging, minor chipping around edges; somewhat worn breaks; large, thin, irregular patches of encrustation.
