Fabric, firing, surface
Pale red to pink, fired to reddish yellow at exterior surface. Hard, somewhat coarse; granular break, mostly smooth surface with slightly dusty texture. Uncommon, tiny to smooth, well sorted, white and offwhite and black bits; occasional, small to medium, subangular, light gray stones at surface. Carefully smoothed.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 12-15% of upper neck and rim. Slight, sparse abrasion; slightly worn breaks; sparse, thin patches of encrustation.
