Baggy body, bulging(?) in lower half. Sloping shoulder with rounded, indistinct transition from body. Wide, flat ridging at mid-body and fine, sharp, somewhat uneven ridging at shoulder under handle. Vertical, cylindrical rim demarcated below by rounded ridge like ring at base. Ring handle pulled upward almost into triangle, elliptical in section with irregular groove on one side and squared ridge on axis, attaches at shoulder just below rim.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Slightly gritty fabric fired brown core to orange near surface; varied, uncommon, small, subangular black, white, gray inclusions. Thin, pale brown wash brushed across surface. Judaean.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves roughly one quarter of body, including one entire handle (broken away before photograph). Slight, sparse abrasion and rare scratching; mostly clean breaks; speckling to patches of black discoloration (secondary scorching?).
