Description
Shallow domed lid, thin walled, with everted rim. Stepped ridging on exterior. Form paired with Palestinian casserole KTH0004/1398?
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Slightly granular red fabric with frequent small to tiny varied bits and occasional medium to small, subrounded, “lime” chunks. Surface displays thin, even wash slightly lighter than fabric.
Preservation comment
Three joining sherds (774+856) preserve ca. 30% of rim and <25% of body. Slight, sparse abrasion on surface and large chips from rim; clean breaks; scattered, thin patches of encrustation; large patch of post-depositional scorching.
