Cylindrical body. Rounded turn to steep sloping shoulder up to conical(?) neck. Wide aperture cut roughly in body up to shoulder with angular to flat upper border. Small, round perforations on shoulder. Ridging on upper body. Overall thick-walled and roughly made.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Hard, heavy, slightly granular, red fabric, “brick-like,“ with uncommon, small to medium, subrounded, lime chunks. Exterior surface has thin, uneven slightly lighter wash. Turning marks on shoulder.
Preservation comment
One large fragment preserves ca. 15-20% of shoulder, small part of upper body, and base of neck. Sparse, slight to moderate abrasion on all surfaces; worn breaks; thin, extensive film of encrustation.
