Rooftile
Description
Low arching, thin tile. Lateral margin is beveled and thickened upward.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Buff. Dense, soft, slightly coarse fabric, gritty, with infrequent, small to medium-sized, subangular, black, white, and gray inclusions and rare larger lime chunks, a few exploding at the surface. Cf. KTH2263, KTH2370, KTH2461. Somewhat thick, dull, even slip lighter color than fabric painted on all surfaces.
Preservation comment
One fragment preserves small part of tile with one finished edge. Slight, sparse abrasion; scattered specks of encrustation.
