Description
Truncoconical neck. Flaring, convex rim has rounded, inwardly thickened lip with groove made by finger just below on inner face. Articulation of neck and rim lightly marked. Vertical loop handle, round to oval in section, attaches at middle of neck and at shoulder.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Micaceous variety of LRA2 Southern Argolid fabric, firing, and surface treatment: marks from wet-smoothing; rare, isolated, lime chunks spalling and sometimes cratering.
Preservation comment
Two joining sherds (0781+0850) preserve complete rim, entire neck, and upper stubs of both handles. Slight, sparse abrasion and gouging; clean breaks; rare, thick patches and frequent, thin strips of encrustation.
