Fabric, firing, and surface description
Orangish red fired to slightly brownish red at surface (2 mm) with dark gray clouding around handle; moderately coarse, hard, granular to hackly break; uncommon, poorly sorted, small to rarely medium, rounded white (lime) and tabular to angular, gray and dark gray or brown inclusions; rare, medium, elongated, white (calcareous?) chunks. Brushstrokes across handle.
Preservation comment
One small fragment preserves ca. 8% of rim, small part of neck, and one upper handle attachment. Slight, sparse abrasion, scraping, and flaking; worn breaks; widespread, rough film of encrustation.
