Casserole. Flaring rim with flat upper and outer faces, thickened at outer end with sharp edges.
Fabric, firing, surface
Fabric is consistently fire dark red. Hard, somewhat coarse; splintery break. Occasional, small, angular, dark inclusions; rare, subangular, light inclusions (quartzitic?). All extant surfaces are patchy greyish-red and have light brush marks; several small voids evident at surface.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 5-8% of rim. Slight, sparse abrasion; slightly worn breaks; thin tracing of yellowish encrustation (botanical?) across surfaces.
