Late Roman Amphora 2 Small
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Micaceous variant of Standard LRA2 Southern Argolid fabric, with typical firing and surface treatment: reddish brown fabric with thin wash fired slightly more orange.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 45% of rim, part of middle to upper neck, and one upper handle attachment. Very slight, sparse abrasion with large chips from edge and minor scoring and pitting; somewhat worn breaks; thin film of encrustation.
