- Description
- Large, shallow plate. Short flaring ring foot, rounded on outer edge of resting surface. Straight wall; slightly concave floor without chamfer. Three concentric grooves on floor just inside attachment of foot.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Slightly granular fabric fired to deep red. Thick matte slip on extant interior; extant exterior plain. African D fabric.
- Preservation comment
- Two joining sherds (1017+1003) preserve 15% of base and small part of floor and wall. Slight, extensive abrasion and slight chipping around edges; moderate specks to patches of encrustation.
