Fragment of a well-made stopper with thin disk and relatively sharp edge.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Usual LRA2 Argolid fabric; occasional lime chunks visible on surface. Core fired to pink; darker near surface. Beige surface is well slipped with turning marks evident on extant part of upper and lower faces; one finger smudge on upper surface towards rim. Overall, the production of this piece, particularly its surface slip, is close to LRA2 amphoras.
