Traces of pitches on wall around upper handle: fingerprints?
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric, firing, and surface standard for type but notably more pale, very rare, medium, angular chunks of lime at surface, and variable firing to light red on exterior.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves one entire handle and large part of shoulder. Slight, extensive abrasion and very rare scratching and chipping; worn breaks; rare specks of encrustation. Greenish to grayish discoloration in band along one side from secondary scorching.
