Description
Shoulder tapers in even slope from wide body; distinct transition to neck marked by broad groove. Short, cylindrical but convex rim tapers to thin, rounded lip. Inward curve of neck is distinctive. Fine ridges up shoulder to articulation with rim. Excess clay across upper shoulder onto exterior rim.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Slightly granular reddish fabric with occasional, medium ”lime” and smaller, darker, rounded inclusion, with other varied tiny bits, many sandy. Thin distinctly lighter wash, plain in patches.
Preservation comment
One small sherd preserves 7% of rim and neck and small part of shoulder. Non-joining sherd from same vessel as KTH1152. Slight, somewhat sparse abrasion and chipping especially around edges; common specks to patches of encrustation.
