- Description
- Small bowl or cup. Ring foot has vertical outer face with rounded edge and sloping interior face; concave bottom. Flaring curved lower body. Slip over entire interior but not on lower wall or base.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Slightly gritty fabric with slightly granular break; consistently fired light red with pale brown surface. Rare dark (gray), rounded inclusions and other tiny bits; rare angular lime inclusions. Interior surface has a thin, even, semimatte orangish red slip. Interior is not carefully smoothed or finished. Corinthian.
- Preservation comment
- One sherd preserves roughly one half of base and small part of lower wall. Slight, somewhat sparse abrasion and scratching; somewhat worn breaks; scattered small patches of encrustation.
