Description
Small bowl or cup. Ring foot has vertical outer face with rounded edge and sloping interior face; concave bottom. Flaring curved lower body. Slip over entire interior but not on lower wall or base.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Slightly gritty fabric with slightly granular break; consistently fired light red with pale brown surface. Rare dark (gray), rounded inclusions and other tiny bits; rare angular lime inclusions. Interior surface has a thin, even, semimatte orangish red slip. Interior is not carefully smoothed or finished. Corinthian.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves roughly one half of base and small part of lower wall. Slight, somewhat sparse abrasion and scratching; somewhat worn breaks; scattered small patches of encrustation.
