Description
Cup. Everted, outward flaring rim with rounded lip; slight annular offset (“collarino“) largely obscured by handle. Oval handle has slight ridge on outer face; it is not cut at either side. Globular body. Perhaps a late 2nd-3rd century vessel rather than earlier.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Hard fine red fabric has very slight visible granularity, no visible inclusions. Extant surfaces essentially plain, interior same as fabric, exterior fired gray, handle various fired between gray and red of fabric.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves small part of rim and most of handle. Slight, sparse abrasion; worn breaks; sparse film of encrustation.
