Typological identification comment
Aegean type (“urnetta a collarino“)
Description
Globular body with rounded shoulder. Everted, outward flaring rim with rounded lip; slight annular offset (“collarino“). Oval handle has slight ridge on outer face; it is not cut at either side.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Hard fine red fabric has very slight visible granularity, no visible inclusions. Extant surfaces essentially plain, interior same as fabric, exterior fired gray; handle variously fired between gray and red of fabric.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves small part of rim and most of handle. Slight, sparse abrasion; worn breaks; sparse film of encrustation.
