Shoulder tapers in even slope from wide body; distinct transition to neck marked by broad groove. Short, cylindrical but convex rim tapers to thin, rounded lip. Inward curve of neck is distinctive. Small ring handles, oval to rectangular in section, attach at shoulder. Fine ridges under handles up shoulder to articulation with rim. Excess clay on exterior rim.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Slightly granular reddish fabric with occasional, medium ”lime” and smaller, darker, rounded inclusion, with other varied tiny bits, many sandy. Thin distinctly lighter wash, plain in patches.
