Flat to slightly concave base is distinctly formed from lower wall by deep tooling, though with some excess clay filling groove. Light rounded ridging above base turns to deeper combing that is oriented towards top of vessel.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Reddish fabric with rounded quartz and lime chunks, some exploding on surface. Surface partially fired to buff.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves large part of base and lower wall. Slight chipping and abrasion around edges but otherwise clean breaks; slight, extensive film of encrustation over all surfaces.
