Large bowl. Flaring, curving to straight wall of variable thickness. Knobby rim with rounded outer and upper faces; wide overhanging underside with small offset from wall; slight concavity on inner face.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Red fabric. Very slightly granular fabric, hard, with rare, very small, elongated lime inclusions and rare voids. Thin, full matte slip on all surface; fine brush marks on interior. Dark gray firing cloud over outer floor and over rim. Classic LRC.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 12% of rim and small part of upper wall. Slight, somewhat extensive scoring; clean breaks; thin, extensive patches of encrustation.
