- Description
- Large bowl. Flaring, curving to straight wall of variable thickness. Knobby rim with rounded outer and upper faces; wide overhanging underside with small offset from wall; slight concavity on inner face.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Red fabric. Very slightly granular fabric, hard, with rare, very small, elongated lime inclusions and rare voids. Thin, full matte slip on all surface; fine brush marks on interior. Dark gray firing cloud over outer floor and over rim. Classic LRC.
- Preservation comment
- One sherd preserves ca. 12% of rim and small part of upper wall. Slight, somewhat extensive scoring; clean breaks; thin, extensive patches of encrustation.
