Late Roman Amphora 2
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Standard LRA2 Southern Argolid fabric, somewhat coarse; but discolored to pale green and flaking from overfiring.
Preservation comment
Two joining sherds (1118+1188) preserve 45% of rim to top of neck. Varied cracking and flaking; worn breaks; thin patches of encrustation. Distortion of material from secondary burning.
