Wide, rounded body. Slightly everted, triangular rim with rounded lip, convex on outside and offset below by groove, and concave on inside face forming ledge for lid. Handle, round to oval in section, attaches at rim to upper shoulder. Light brush marks visible on exterior.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Granular fabric is dark red with frequent small to medium light angular inclusions and other tiny bits. Exterior surface is brown, interior is patchy reddish to brownish-grey.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserving less than 17% of rim, small part of upper wall, and roughly 33% of one handle. Slight, sparse abrasion, pitting, and chipping around edges; large, thin patches of encrustation. Large patch of black discoloration: scorching.
