Typological identification
Late Roman Amphora 2
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Standard LRA2 southern Argolid fabric. firing, and surface treatment. Note more micaceous than usual; fired slightly reddish, with faint gray firing cloud around upper neck and rim.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves 33% of rim, neck, and upper shoulder, with one upper handle attachment. Surface in good condition, and mostly clean breaks, but chipping around lip.
