Description
Late Roman Amphora 2. Variant firing. Slightly coarse fabric is red, with frequent tiny inclusions, mostly light sub-angular, and some larger “lime” chunks. Very thin matte wash on surface, mostly same color as underlying clay, paler in patches. Combing on shoulder is light and closely spaced. See KTH1497 for less complete example identical in firing, overall surface treatment, and combing.
