Description
Straight flaring neck, distinctly marked from neck on exterior, rounded handle with slight groove underneath. Overall, a distinct vessel within the Threpsiades assemblage.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Gritty non-southern Argolid LRA2 fabric. Fired consistently pale red with a tinge of orange. Rather fine; large to medium, angular, poorly sorted, quartzitic, black, calcareous inclusions; varied smaller particles; hackly to laminar fracture. Smoothed surface.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves entire rim, much of neck, and one handle. Slight, sparse abrasion and infrequent but prominent pitting and chipping; somewhat clean breaks; frequent patches of rough encrustation.
