Typological identification
Late Roman Amphora 2
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Micaceous variant of standard LRA2 Southern Argolid fabric, with typical firing and surface treatment. Slightly granular fabric with frequent small to tiny light (lime) inclusions, both rounded and angular; exterior surface buff.
Preservation comment
Two joining sherds (1453+1456) preserve 70% of rim and small part of uppermost neck. Slight to moderate, sparse abrasion and gouging around lip, with chipping around edges; clean breaks; scattered but frequent specks to small patches of encrustation.
