Jug. Rounded upper body and shoulder. Conical, gently tapering neck with shallow groove setting off neck from shoulder. Two bands of double grooves, wavey with sharp peaks, around upper body.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Pale reddish brown, slightly more orange at surface; hard, granular fabric; infrequent to frequent, angular to subrounded, lime and tiny light bits. Regional.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves ca. 15% of middle to lower neck and adjacent upper body. Very slight chipping; slightly worn breaks; thick encrustation over exterior.
