Late Roman Amphora 2 Small
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Micaceous variant of standard LRA2 Southern Argolid fabric, with typical firing and surface treatment: consistently fired pale reddish brown but slightly more orange at outer surface (2mm).
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 40% of rim and small part of uppermost neck. Slight, sparse abrasion and rare chipping; somewhat worn breaks; thick specks and thin, irregular film of encrustation.
