Typological identification
Small handled amphora stopper
Description
Knob handled stopper. About 2/3rds preserved with large chunk of rim missing. Slightly chipped on rim. Two dimples present on knob handle from squeezing during formation. Excess clay present at base of knob handle. Discoloration on underside potentially from resting in ash. Made in “Southern Argolid Fabric”.
