Typological identification
Small handled amphora stopper
Description
Knob handled stopper. About 1/3rd preserved. Missing one large chunk of rim and two smaller chunks of rim on opposite side. Dimple on knob handle from pressure from finger during formation. Surface discoloration potentially from burning or over-firing. Radial motif present on knob handle underside. Partially discolored calcerious chunks present on underside. Made in “Southern Argolid Fabric”.
