- Description
- Wide rim flat to slight sloped on top, rounded outer edge. Straight upper wall tapering to rim.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Hard, slightly ranular fabric is inconsistently fired to brownish-reddish and pale red (2.5YR 5/4, reddish brown). Interior surface brown; exterior inconsistently fired to pale red to light brown (2.5YR 6/4, light reddish brown). Rare white, small, rounded inclusions, some elongated, also embedded in surface; frequent mica.
- Preservation comment
- One sherd preserves ca. 12% of rim and small part of upper body. Slight abrasion around breaks; thin, somewhat extensive encrustation. Streaks of burning on interior and exterior.
