Basin. Wide cylindrical body with vertical wall, prominently corrugated. Flat base with flange at transition to wall. Thin red bands on interior wall and faint streaks on exterior.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Yellowish red; hard, somewhat fine, with very slightly granular break; uncommon, small, tabular and angular lime inclusions, fewer rounded, some tiny light bits. Corinthian buff utilitarian fabric. Thin, even, matte red slip painted in bands and streaks.
Preservation comment
Two joining sherds (1517+1519) preserve ca. 20% of base and small part of lower wall. Slight, sparse abrasion and gouging with large chips from edge; worn breaks; rare specks to small patches of encrustation.
