Large cylindrical lantern. Frontal aperture with arching upper lip and straight sides. Light-holes punched through wall in alternative columns around aperture. Wet smoothing of surface and faint turning marks. Thin-walled and finely made.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Standard LRA2 fabric, firing, and surface but somewhat finer than amphoras.
Preservation comment
One fragment preserves small part of body and lip of front aperture. Slight, sparse abrasion on surfaces and edges; clean breaks.
