- Description
- Large cylindrical lantern. Frontal aperture with arching upper lip and straight sides. Light-holes punched through wall in alternative columns around aperture. Wet smoothing of surface and faint turning marks. Thin-walled and finely made.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Standard LRA2 fabric, firing, and surface but somewhat finer than amphoras.
- Preservation comment
- One fragment preserves small part of body and lip of front aperture. Slight, sparse abrasion on surfaces and edges; clean breaks.
