Bowl. Thin, convex upper. Plain, pointed lip. Slipped on interior and exterior.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
2.5YR 6/8, light red; consistently fired. Very fine fabric, hard; smooth break. One small, round, lime chunk; bits of silvery mica visible in break and at surface. Somewhat smoothed slip on interior with brush marks and thicker under rim; drip marks on exterior below rim, with thinner slip lower down on wall. Material typical for ware.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 7% of rim and small part of middle to upper wall. Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion but clean breaks; scattered specks of encrustation.
