Wide bowl. Ring foor, both faces sloping. Flaring wall, curved below angle.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Pale red fabric; fine, hard; smooth break. Uncommon, small, rounded, calcareous inclusions throughout. Thick, dull, unsmoothed, red slip with tinge of brown; thinner on exterior. Turning scratches on exterior; faint smoothing bands on interior. Classic LRC fabric.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 30% of base and small part of floor and lower floor. Slight, sparse abrasion with minor pitting and chipping; slightly worn breaks; large patches of encrustation on interior and exterior.
