Description
Bowl. Convex body. Small rolled rim with rounded lip.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Slightly granular reddish fabric with occassional varied tiny inclusions. Thick, well-smoothed to soapy, orange slip over rim; turning marks on slip on exterior. Void visible just below rim, perhaps from its forming. Oudhna production.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 18% of rim and substantial part of middle to upper body. Slight, sparse chipping around edges; clean breaks; sparse, thin specks to patches of encrustation on exterior but thick on interior.
