Description
Loop handle, oval in section with wide grooves.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Pale brick red; slighty coarse and gritty, hard, with granular break; frequent, well sorted quartzitic sand (pale and gray, opaque, rounded to subrounded particles); cream coating (1-2 mm) from saline wash. Linear smoothing marks on exterior. Tunisian.
Preservation comment
One intact handle. Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion; somewhat worn breaks; thin patches of encrustation.
