Description
Wide, somewhat convex upper body. Vertical rim, undercut, widely thickened but tapering to sharp point at top, has rounded outer face and slightly angular inner face.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Core: 5YR 5/1 (gray); surface: 10R 6/6 (light red). Coarse, hard fabric with granular break has frequent, poorly sorted, medium to large (<1-2 mm), angular and subangular, varied rocky inclusions: most gray and off-white, few green, and rare, small, rounded, dark gray to black bits. Surface consistently smooth: lightly burnished?
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 9% of rim and small part of upper body. Very slight, sparse abrasion but surfaces in good condition; mostly clean breaks.
