Description
Wide cylindrical neck flares upward toward rim. Rim rolled outward flatly, with hook at lower margin on exterior face; plain, rounded lip; slightly concave interior face. Thin wall, shape, size, and fabric all support identification as fruit amphora.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Granular fabric is consistently fired grey; rare small light angular inclusions. All surfaces grey with light brush marks.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 8% of rim and small part of upper neck. Slight, sparse abrasion; worn breaks; few specks of encrustation.
