Wide cylindrical neck flares upward toward rim. Rim rolled outward flatly, with hook at lower margin on exterior face; plain, rounded lip; slightly concave interior face. Thin wall, shape, size, and fabric all support identification as fruit amphora.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Coarse, hard fabric, with minute granular break and sandy texture, is consistently fired grey; rare small light angular inclusions. All surfaces grey with light brush marks.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 8% of rim and small part of upper neck. Slight, sparse abrasion; worn breaks; few specks of encrustation.
