Sloping shoulder. Vertical, triangular rim convex on exterior and concave on interior, with rounded lip and thick, overhanging ledge inside. Loop handle, round in section, attaches against rim.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Grey core fired to greyish light brown at surface (2-3 mm); coarse, hard, with granular to hackly break and rough surface texture; frequent, well sorted, small to medium, mostly light inclusions (calcareous, quartzitic, limestone?) and rare tiny dark bits, also visible at surface. NePcf.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 8% of rim and upper attachment of one handle. Slight to moderate, somewhat extensive abrasion and scoring; somewhat worn breaks; thin, sparse patches of encrustation especially around handle.
