Description
Cooking pot. Rounded shoulder; flaring rim with rounded outer face and sharp, inwardly hooked lip. Loop handle, oval in section, attaches against rim.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Reddish brown; interior surface fired brown and exterior surface gray (2-4 mm). Coarse, hard, with granular break; frequent, small, light, angular and subangular inclusions, frequently embedded in surface. Regional.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 15% of rim down to articulation with shoulder and upper part of one handle. Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion and scraping; worn breaks; extensive, moderate encrustation.
