Description
Casserole. Everted rim with rounded outer edge; no offset below.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Granular fabric is reddish-brown with occasional small dark rounded inclusions, some visible on surface; other tiny bits. Interior surface is reddish-brown like fabric, grey towards outer edge of rim; exterior is grey. Occasional mica. Light brush marks on interior face of rim. Phocaean?
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 18% of rim with small part of upper body. Slight, sparse abrasion with rare chipping; worn breaks; irregular, thin patches of white encrustation.
