Small jug, mug, or small-mouthed jar. Wide-flaring shoulder that turns sharply to short, concave neck up to small, everted rim with angular faces. Row of small, sharp, vertical gouges around the upper neck and outer edge of the rim, random in length and placement: rudimentary ornament? damage from hanging vessel or more likely prying off cover?
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Standard LRA2 Southern Argolid fabric, firing, and surface treatment: rather gritty, slightly red.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 30% of rim and upper neck. Slight, extensive abrasion and minor pitting; worn breaks; faint gray discoloration on surface (scorching?).
