Jug. Tall handle, oval in section, rounded ridges on top and sides.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Core fired to light gray, darker under surface; pale red wash partially extant. Somewhat coarse, with rough surface and slightly hackly break; frequent, light, angular, small to medium, quartz and light tiny bits (some calcareous?). Cf. regional cooking ware?
Preservation comment
Most of one handle survives but missing upper attachment. Slight, sparse abrasion and rare scraping; slightly worn breaks.
