Late Roman Amphora 2 Small
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Standard LRA2 Southern Argolid fabric, firing, and surface treatment: brownish fabric with a tinge of pink fired to pale yellowish brown at very surface; slightly gritty, mostly small, subrounded, lime specks; thin wash shows faint, even brush marks around exterior rim.
Preservation comment
One small sherd preserves 10% of rim down towards joint with upper neck. Slight, somewhat sparse abrasion with large chipping from one side; slightly worn breaks; extensive, thin encrustation.
