Description
Globular body. Short, everted rim with squared outer edge and flanged ledge on interior. Loop handle, circular in section and grooved, attaches just above widest diameter of body(?) and against rim. Wheel ridging on interior and exterior.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Reddish gray core fired to pale gray at surfaces; medium coarse, hard, granular to hackly break with rough surfaces; uncommon, small lime chunks and varied tiny bits, some dark; uncommon, small, irregular voids. Regional. Surface shows brush marks from smoothing.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 10% of rim and large part of middle to upper body with one entire handle. Slight to moderate, extensive abrasion and scoring; somewhat worn breaks; thin, somewhat extensive patches of encrustation.
