Fabric, firing, and surface description
Core: light greyish brown; surfaces (4-7 mm, though interior thinner than exterior): dull reddish orange). Slight to medium coarse, hard, with granular break and gritty feel; abundant added sand (quartzitic); uncommon, small, crumbly brownish red and occasional medium to large subrounded/subangular dark red chunks (ferrous?) and rare lime specks.
