Jug. Conical neck. Flaring rim with curved outside face and somewhat point rim. One handle. Slip brushed lightly around wide part of rim and dripping downward.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Southern Argolid LRA2 fabric. Very pale reddish brown fabric, fired consistently slightly more pale at surface. Hard, slightly granular. Occasional, small, subangular, lime inclusions; rare, small, subrounded, dark (red and black?) bits; frequent golden micaceous flakes and glistening bits at surface. Orangish red, matte, thin slip. Smoothing lines on exterior.
Preservation comment
Two joining sherds preserve 33% of rim and small part of uppermost neck, with trace of upper attachment of one handle. Slip, sparse abrasion and minor chipping along lip; worn breaks; widespread, thin patches of encrustation.
