Cooking pot. Convex upper body tapers to everted rim with rounded lip and flat upper face.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Red to brown red on most surfaces, fired gray toward outer edge of rim. Hard, medium coarse fabric; granular to vaguely platy break. Frequent, medium, angular, light (calcareous) inclusions and other, varied tiny bits; rare, large, dark, angular rocks visible on surface. Light brushstrokes on all extant surfaces.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 8% of rim and small part of upper wall. Slight abrasion with minor chipping and flaking around edges; mostly clean breaks; scattered specks and patches of thin encrustation.
